I gave £5 to a man who was begging for money whom I had met before. He was happy to receive £5.
I gave £0.20 to a man who was begging for money whom I had met before. He was happy to receive 20p.
Tips
When you give money to beggars, you make the beggar happy by increasing the amount of money the beggar can spend or save or both and you feel happy which is why it is a kind deed. Any amount of money you give to the beggar makes the beggar happy but the more you give the beggar, the happier the beggar is. Try to give something to a beggar when a beggar begs. Even if you give 20p, £1, £2, £5, £10 or more. Any harmless gift you give someone is good and kind. Make sure you tell the recipient of the gift that you want that you want them to enjoy the gift.
To be kind, give a nice yummy delicious non-meat and non-fish treat to someone - human, animal or both humans and animals or buy a treat from a kind shop selling vegetarian food.
