I donated a pack of spaghetti, a pack of pasta and two tins of chickpeas to the Community Food Bank. The collection was at the supermarket. The Food Bank provides free food for people who can't afford to buy their own food due to poverty. The food bank helps the poor survive by providing them with the food they need for survival for free.
I donated 50p to Children in Need charity who were collecting money at the supermarket checkout to help children who are not happy be happy.
I cleaned the bathroom so that my housemates have a clean bathroom to wash in. This makes them happy so it is kind to clean the bathroom.
I hoovered the first and second floor carpet so that my housemates see a clean carpet when they are walking upstairs. This makes them happy so it is kind to hoover the carpet.
I recognised a lady I had met in the past and I greeted her. She was very happy to see me and I was happy to see her too :). It was kind to greet her and acknowledge her.
Tips
To be kind, show people that you are very happy when they are kind to you and they will be kind again. Being kind does not need to be a sacrifice. When someone shows happiness for the kindness shown to them, the person being kind is happy and it makes it worth while being kind. A kind action is always harmless and makes the person you are kind to happy. Show outer happiness at kindness shown to you by smiling a large smile and looking at the person you are smiling at and say thank you very much. The outer happiness shows the person being kind your inner happiness outwardly. Bee nice :)
Always assume people are nice and be kind to everyone you associate with.
Being kind cures depression. Doing kind deeds makes you happy and makes the person or people you are being kind to happy. People do not always show their inner happiness at kindness outwardly but they are always happy within when you are kind to them.
If you see a bee, fly or ant or spider, don't squash them. Instead say hi to them. Smile at them and gently shake hands if you can.
